Exterior

The platform of XUV 700 is all-new, Mahindra has kept the essence of XUV 500 in XUV 700. The headlight of this car is in the shape of C maintained by LED DRLs. It also packs all led beam and indicators nicely. This car also features cornering lights. The overall front got an aggressive look. Every crease looks very strong which adds up more muscle look to the car. The car comes with front McPherson Strut with FSD Damper suspension and rear Multi-link System with FSD Damper. These suspension are a bit stiff which introduces more control to a car’s handling.

Coming to the side profile of the car, the door handles of this car are flush sitting door handles which looks ultra premium, in X7 variant with option pack we can get motorised one. If you are eying a lower variant, don't worry because there too you will get the same flush design, but the handles will pop out when you press them. Wheels of AX7 variant are 18-inch dual tone diamond cut alloys which perfectly gives the look of the car.

At the back of the car, it got arrow-shaped tail lights, which looks very impressive especially in night. The road presence of this car is super aggressive. XUV 700 is more better than XUV 500 in terms design, Mahindra has done a fabulous job.

Interior Space & Comfort

The first major highlight is the AdrenoX powered displays. There are two 10.25 inch displays which have a proper tablet-like resolution. They look ultra premium and are fluid to use. The infotainment unit gets in-built navigation, wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and some built-in applications, and even gets displays like a g-meter and a lap timer. There is also Alexa which works like any other car assistant, and can control vehicle functions like climate control, sunroof and music selection via voice commands. Plus, you can also pair it with your Alexa device at home, with which you can lock and unlock the car or start the AC.

The car from inside looks more spacious. There is enough elbow room at the front for 2 passengers, in the second row, 3 people can sit comfortably and enjoy the ride, however the second row seats are not slidable and no one can play with the knee room in 3rd row. The 3rd row seats aren’t very comfortable.

Safety Features

ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) features like Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Driver Fatigue Alert, Adaptive Cruise Control, 7 Airbags, ABS, EBD and much more. So, it might be possible that Mahindra has yet another 5-star Global NCAP safety-rated SUV on its hands.

Competitors

The main rivals of Mahindra XUV 700 are Tata Harrier, MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari 2021, Hyundai Alcazar.

My opinion

I think that this car is a total worth of money, because this car has excellent style and great features at this price. It also has great safety features and has a heavy build quality.

This car provides the whole package of safety, features, power, comfort.

I would definitely recommend this car to the one who needs a premium SUV, and has a budget between 12-16 lakhs.
